The problem that many people have is that they get so busy with their jobs or family life and with the day to day routines of living that they forget that it’s important to tap into their creative side from time to time and on a regular basis.
Too often there is so much else to do each day that spending time being creative is put aside and forgotten abut. It is put into that brain compartment which says ‘I’ll do that one day, when I have enough time.’
As you will no doubt have discovered that time never seems to come because there are more and more jobs to do and things to catch up on.

Connect with yourself through creativity.
The more you repeat the message that you can be creative in whatever you do, the more you will develop your creativity. When you do this you will be surprised at how it eventually will get into your inner self and you will begin to discover new and exciting things about yourself.
Get into some new habits
Remember there are no rules about being creative except you have got to do something creative each day. Even just ten minutes a day to draw a quick sketch or jot down the beginning of a poem. Start to become more observant of your surroundings and the people in them.
Make sure you are prepared to be creative.
Be making the decision to spend a set amount of time doing something creative each day you are on your way but you also need to prepare yourself. Perhaps you will decide to do some things earlier in the day or get up half an hour earlier so you can do some painting or writing first thing each day. get rid of any obstacles which seem to be stopping you.
Become more observant of the world around you.
The more you notice and become aware of the more material you accumulate to inspire your creativity.
Put your creativity first
When you make the choice to do something creative each day then the rest of your life will change too.
